Cherish Revised Covid Policy 2022 

DROP OFF PICK UP PROCEDURE

Teachers will meet families outside at 8:35am to ask if there’s been symptoms in the household the past 7days, temp check, hand sanitize, sign in

MID DAY PICK UP

Please ring the doorbell and meet us at the front door and we will deliver your child to you, please be patient if this takes a few minutes.

END OF DAY PICK UP

Please plan on picking up your child promptly between 4:15-4:30pm We will have them ready with their gear. Meet at front door.

MASK REQUIREMENT

All people that enter the building including children must wear a KN95 and KF94. Each Child is required to have two backup masks on site.

TRAVELING POLICY

If children air travel, attend large gatherings, or take any other similar risk, parents are asked to keep their unvaccinated children home for 7 days, and take a rapid or PCR test on day 5. Vaccinated children are asked to stay home for 5 days and take a rapid test on day 5, and may return same-day if it is negative and they are not symptomatic.

If vaccinated parents are traveling without children, parents are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms and keep children home if they experience
any symptoms. We also ask parents to take a rapid or PCR test 5 days after travel.

SUSPECTED OR CONFIRMED CASES:

Anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus must remain out of our center for a minimum of 10 days or until you have received medical clearance to return. This includes anyone who has pick up and drop off privileges.



EXCLUSION FOR ILLNESS POLICY:

We will continue to be diligent about enforcing our existing policy of excluding sick children and employees. While we understand the additional burden that this may cause, it is crucial that we limit the spreading of this virus.


If a child or teacher begins to show symptoms of coronavirus or any other illness, we will follow our exclusion policy for illness. In that case, the child or teacher would be asked to go home, see a doctor, and will require medical documentation that it is safe to return.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE PRACTICES:

We continue to follow our existing cleaning practices and hygiene procedures including disinfecting high touch surfaces like door handles, toys, light switches, etc.

The following practices will be:


-We will also continue to enforce hand washing before and after eating, using the restroom, or coming in from the playground.

-Sheets and blankets used for nap time will be eliminated.

-The classrooms and bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized by our cleaning crew on a daily basis.

-Stuffed animals will not be allowed in the classroom during this time.
 -Backpacks will not be allowed.

 

DISTANCING

Use of 6ft Physical distancing during mask off activities.

VENTALATION

We will open windows to the outside when possible.

Hepa filter in each room and window open during mask off activities such as snack and lunch. Low-l spaces... We will consider outdoor activities when possible as they have less transmission risk than indoor activities.

 

COVID IN COMMUNITY SPACE

If a person with Covid is in the facility we will determine which group(s) they had contact with and we would require said group to vacate facility and wait for neg. test for Covid before returning on the 5th day after exposure. (If exposed on Monday the countdown begins Tuesday) Rapid Tests Excepted. The test will have to be performed no earlier than 72 hours after exposure.

I agree to the above terms and understand that failure to follow them could result in dismissal of my child from our school.
